paintings
There’s nothing quite like sitting in front of a blank canvas with a world of possibilities at your fingertips.
When I first started painting, I used to try to blend every stroke perfectly. I thought that paintings should look like photos, with no flaws. When I finally broke out of that way of thinking and developed my own style, I discovered beauty in the imperfections. I now have a wholehearted appreciation for brush strokes, in case you didn’t already pick up on that.
