This was my first completed watercolor painting in the last decade! I hadn’t really touched my watercolor palette since college, but once this inspiration photo I took back in 2019 resurfaced, I imagined being able to capture the details best with watercolor. The original inspiration photo was one I took of the rocky shoreline at Cabo da Roca, Portugal–a place that is well worth a visit.
